Cam Lock A Male Adapter Female NPT (MCLXFPT)

Our three Cam Lock A Male Adapter Female NPT models  feature a quick-connect, cam-and-groove-style threadless male adapter plug on one end and a tapered female National Pipe Thread (NPT) on the internal side. This design bridges fixed, threaded piping setups to flexible quick-disconnect line systems.

This setup allows you to to lock or disconnect fluid lines in seconds. No tools required. Once connected, it creates an unobstructed full-bore flow channel. Because this system almost always couples and uncouples on its cam-lock end, your threaded end won’t wear down due to frequent use. As a result, you minimize the risk of leaks. The cam lock also provides plainly visible confirmation that your end is tightly sealed.

Our 1, 2, and 3 inch polypropylene adapters have several common uses, including:

• Agricultural irrigation
• Chemical & water treatment
• Industrial & site pumping
• Quick hookups for storage containers and IBC totes.

However, each size also serves its own specific purposes:

• 1 inch: Smaller chemical lines, washdown, and fluid feeds
• 2 inch: Transferring non-extreme or aggressive liquid chemicals, coolants, and wastewater that could corrode metal components
• 3 inch: High-volume drainage, heavy-duty agricultural transfer, and movement of large fluid quantities

Features

• MCL x FPT configuration: Male Cam & Groove stub on one end. Female NPT thread on the other
• Polypropylene & glass construction: Strong. Less expensive, lighter, and more corrosion- and chemical-resistant than metallic alternatives.
• Male adapter compatibility:  Matching-size Type B, C, and D female couplers and Type DC dust caps
• Female adapter compatibility: Matching-size Male NPT threaded pipe or fittings

Caution: Polypropylene fittings are not rated or safe for use with compressed air, gas, or high-pressure steam. Do not overtighten or crush them during installation.
