Keep your unattended trailer safe from theft. The “one size fits all” UMAX50 Universal Coupler Lock from Trimax accommodates 1-7/8″, 2″, and 2-5/16″ trailer ball couplers, covering such brands and types as Atwood, Bulldog, Fulton, surge brake, and UFP.   

It’s easy to install, solidly built, versatile, and dust- and moisture-resistant. But most importantly, it confounds thieves with a locking mechanism that stops their picking and sends them packing.

“360 degrees of protection” is easy to install: 

• A two-piece, die-cast lock housing comes up from underneath your ball hitch with a ball plug that fits into your coupler.  

• A U-shaped, hardened-steel shackle sits overtop of your trailer ball coupler. Its two serrated prongs slide into the lock housing.  

•  As the housing and shackle lock are easily pushed together, Trimax’s dual-ratchet system holds them firmly in place for a tight, weather-resistant fit that leaves no room for pry bars or other theft tools. 

The UMAX50’s high-security, 7-pin cylinder locks and unlocks with a tubular key. It’s designed to resist picking or drilling, and it features a dust cap to keep dirt, moisture, and corrosion out.
