2 inch Grommet Flush Mount

This 2 inch Grommet Flush Mount offers shock and weather protection for your 2 inch round vehicle or trailer light.  It mounts flat on trailers, trucks, or utility vehicles. There, it creates a recess mounting space for 2 inch round side marker, clearance, or identification lights.

The grommet’s secure, vibration-dampening housing design protects lights from shock and seals out moisture and other contaminates, lengthening every light’s working life. 

Meanwhile, an open back provides easy access for connecting your light wires to your trailer or vehicle’s wiring harness. Thanks to its durable black PVC/rubber construction, this grommet stands up well against harsh weather, road, and environmental conditions.  

Installation 

Before you install, you’ll require a 2 5/16 inch mounting hole in your trailer frame and one of two available 2-wire pigtail connectors, each one with its own function: 

• 2-wire electrical pigtail connector with standard PL-10 plug and 6-inch wire leads for a sealed trailer marker, clearance, or utility light. 

• Right-angle 2-wire pigtail connector featuring a 2-pin PL-3 male plug and a 10-inch wire lead, for trailer backup and utility lights. 

The steps: 

1. Turn the grommet so its inner cutout area is facing down to drain away water. 
2. Push the grommet in, starting from the top, until the inner edge works completely through to the other side of the metal, where it holds the grommet in place.  
3. Make sure the inside lip is sealing correctly
