Rectangle 5-LED License Plate Light

This Rectangle 5-LED License Plate Light provides all legally required lighting for utility trailers, commercial vehicles, and RV plates. That begins with five highly efficient LEDs last up to 50 times longer than incandescent lighting. There’s also very little maintenance required, because you don’t have issues like brittle filaments to deal with. As a result, you’ll see brighter light that draws less power away from your other electrical components.

Featuring a rugged polycarbonate housing and lens under a heavy-duty chrome cover, this light angles bright white illumination down onto your license plate for a clear read.

Installing the 5-LED License Plate Light

It makes a ready replacement for your old license plate light, and installation is straightforward.

1. Remove your old unit and its wires.
2. Position the new chrome mount and mark where to drill its two screw-mount holes.
3. Temporarily remove the mount, drill your holes, and put the mount back in place, threading your two wires through the proper grommet hole.
4. Secure the mount with self-tapping screws and connect your ground and power wires with heat-shrink butt connectors.
5. Finally, turn on the running lights to test your connection is good. If it is, your plate will be highly visible at night to other motorists.
