Right Angle 2-Wire Pigtail

This Right Angle 2-Wire Pigtail connects your trailer’s wiring harness with any compatible side marker, clearance, or utility light. The right-angle design takes the strain off the wires by running them down from the light rather than straight out the back.

Properly installed, the pigtail’s 2-prong PL-10 plug and two wires easily make a new connection or replace a broken wire, corroded plug, or both. It can match several products from different brands. 

Its white wire is the ground, which bolts or screw into your trailer frame via a ring terminal. In some cases, a thicker frame may require a bigger screw and a larger ring terminal. The black wire supplies the power and attaches to your wiring harness with a heat-shrink butt connector.

Choose the right wire for the light you’re installing. For example, a side marker needs to connect to your taillight or running light. When the wiring is finished, press your plug’s two prongs into the connectors at the back of your light, seat the light in its grommet, and you’re ready to go.
